Chino to enhance production efficiency and R&D capabilities at Tendo facility in Yamagata

Chino Corporation plans to invest ¥257 million in production efficiency improvements and research and development expansion at its Tendo business site in Yamagata Prefecture. The project supports the company's measurement and control instrument sensor business segment.
Sanyo Shokai will relocate and newly build its Sanyo Sewing Aomori Factory in Towada, Aomori, as part of its growth investment program. The new facility will manufacture coats and support product development and technology verification, with construction planned from 2027 and operations scheduled to begin in the first half of FY2028.
Nippon Shikizai, a Japanese cosmetics ODM/OEM manufacturer, held the opening ceremony for its newly acquired Komoro factory in Nagano Prefecture. The facility handles filling, packaging and finishing for makeup products such as mascara and eye shadow, and began operations on September 3, 2026.
Kyocera opened its Nagasaki Isahaya Plant on September 1, 2026, with an opening ceremony planned for spring 2027. The first building is a six-story steel-frame structure with 80,799 sqm of floor area on a 150,000 sqm site, producing fine ceramic components and semiconductor packages; Kyocera plans approximately JPY 68 billion in investment through fiscal 2028 and targets JPY 25 billion in annual sales from the plant from fiscal 2030.
Ishihara Sangyo completed and held the ceremony for a new Blue Gene blue orchid development and production facility at its Yokkaichi Plant on August 26, 2026. The facility comprises a sterile culture room for propagating seedlings, a high-temperature greenhouse for cultivation and a low-temperature greenhouse for inducing flowering, enabling integrated in-house development and stable supply of high-quality flask seedlings.
Fujifilm Business Innovation began full-scale operation of its Circular Manufacturing Center in Laguna, Philippines, which it opened in July 2025 to refurbish used multifunction printers collected across the Asia-Pacific region. The facility started shipping refurbished ApeosPort-VII C R series machines on July 30 and has an exclusive area of approximately 500 sqm.
