CULTA to open new agricultural R&D hubs in Kashiwa and Tsukuba
CULTA will establish new research and development facilities in Kashiwa, Chiba, and Tsukuba, Ibaraki, focused on climate-adapted crop breeding, cultivation technology and stable seedling supply. The facilities will include sunlight-powered and artificial-light plant factories, laboratories, cultivation research greenhouses and a nursery building, with operations scheduled to begin sequentially from September 2026.
