Daihatsu Infinearth plans to install development and testing equipment for internal-combustion-engine manufacturing at its Moriyama First and Second Plants in Shiga, Japan. Total planned investment is ¥12.01 billion per the facility plan table.
Yorozu will invest approximately ¥3 billion to build a new building within its existing Oita Manufacturing Center site and install a 2,000-ton press. The expansion will increase capacity for automotive suspension and other parts, with operations planned to begin in October 2028.
Toyota Boshoku Automotive India, Toyota Boshoku's Indian subsidiary, will build a new plant in the Bidkin Industrial Park in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, to produce automotive seats and other components. The approximately 4 billion Indian rupee (approximately 7 billion yen) investment is scheduled for completion in October 2027, with production planned to start in the first half of 2029 for supply to Toyota Kirloskar Motor's new plant.
Iino Kaiun completed construction of the 93,000 cubic meter LPG/ammonia Very Large Gas Carrier LUMI AURORA at Hanwha Ocean's Okpo shipyard in South Korea. The LPG dual-fuel vessel is the company's third of its kind and is designed to reduce CO2 emissions while supporting winter navigation in the Baltic Sea.
Suzuki Motor Corporation held the opening ceremony for its Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki India's newly built four-wheel vehicle plant in Kharkoda, Haryana. The facility currently has annual production capacity of 500,000 vehicles and is planned for expansion to approximately 1 million vehicles; the opening notice documents a completed manufacturing capex project.
Yokowo's Chinese subsidiary Dongguan Youhua Communication Parts Co., Ltd. established a new anechoic chamber at the factory site of its affiliated manufacturing company in Dongguan, Guangdong. Test operation began in June 2026, with full operation scheduled for the end of June, enabling local evaluation and analysis of automotive antennas for GNSS, ETC, 4G, 5G and V2X applications.
