KOSÉ starts operation of new Minami-Alps plant in Yamanashi with hydrogen-powered energy model

KOSÉ Holdings began full operation of its new Minami-Alps plant in Yamanashi Prefecture on July 9, 2026, marking the company's third domestic production base and coinciding with its 80th founding anniversary. The plant leverages Yamanashi's water resources and adopts green hydrogen and hydroelectric power to build a local energy production-consumption model, with investment of JPY 38 billion and planned employment of up to 300 workers.
