Power X to begin mass production of Mega Power 4000 grid-scale battery systems

Power X announced the Mega Power 4000 series, a liquid-cooled LFP battery storage system for grid-scale storage projects, with nominal capacities of up to 4,680 kWh per 20-foot container. Mass production is scheduled to begin in May 2027 in Tamano, Okayama, followed by production in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, from January 2028; the system is intended for Japan and overseas markets including Australia and Southeast Asia.
