Shibuya Kogyo builds four new plants in Kanazawa and Nomi for ¥17.5bn to expand bottling and medical device output
Shibuya Kogyo (Kanazawa) is constructing four new factories in Kanazawa and Nomi cities, Ishikawa Prefecture, at a total investment of ¥17.5 billion, to boost production of PET bottle filling systems and dialysis machines amid rising overseas demand. The first plant, Morimoto No.3 Machine Factory, is complete and starts operations in August 2026, with the remaining three (SX Morimoto, Nomi No.2 Machine Factory, Wakamiya Plant B) to be completed and operational by January-March 2027, expected to raise bottling system capacity by ~30% and dialysis device capacity by ~50%.
