Taguchi Denki Kogyo starts operation of new power-semiconductor plating plant in Tosu, Saga
Plating and surface-treatment specialist Taguchi Denki Kogyo (Kiyama, Saga Prefecture) held a completion ceremony for its new Tosu plant, its second site after the headquarters factory. The roughly JPY 2.5 billion facility processes plating for power-semiconductor substrates used in EVs and air-conditioner power circuits, with plans to grow the site from 10 to about 70 employees and to commercialize nanotechnology-based fine processing.
