Takaoka Toko to expand oil and gas transformer factory in Hasuda

Takaoka Toko plans to expand its oil and gas transformer factory at the Hasuda site in Saitama. The project has a total planned investment of JPY 1.61 billion, with construction scheduled from June 2025 through June 2027.
J-POWER has started full-scale construction of the Mimaki Power Station at the Miboro Dam in Shirakawa, Gifu. The facility will install a 550 kW generating unit on an existing river-maintenance-flow discharge pipe and is scheduled to begin operation in FY2028.
West Holdings, Mitsui & Co. Realty Management, e-dash and JERA Cross have agreed to develop more than 10 MW of rooftop solar generation at underused roofs of logistics and other facilities by March 2028. The equipment-leasing model will supply on-site and surplus off-site renewable power to offices, commercial facilities and hotels across the real-estate fund portfolio.
Takaoka Toko and e-Mobility Power jointly developed the SERA-400 ultra-fast charger, which began operation at the inbound Ebina Service Area on the Tomei Expressway on September 14, 2026. The site has three rapid chargers with eight outlets and 920 kW of total output; Takaoka Toko installed two units with four outlets and 520 kW of output, including one 400 kW SERA-400 unit.
HARE晴れ has started operating a solar power plant in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, developed under an off-site PPA to supply renewable electricity to 14 Skylark Holdings-owned and operated restaurants. The facility has approximately 360 kW of output and expected annual generation of approximately 490,000 kWh, reducing CO2 emissions by about 250 tonnes annually.
GS Yuasa will develop a new manufacturing plant for stationary energy storage systems in Ibaraki Prefecture under its Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry-approved battery supply security plan. The facility is scheduled to begin supply in October 2028, with production spanning domestically made lithium-ion battery cells through control systems.
