Nissin Foods to build new Cup Noodles factory in Tsukubamirai

Nissin Foods will build the Tsukubamirai Factory in Ibaraki Prefecture as a dedicated Cup Noodles production facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2027, with operations planned to start during fiscal 2029; the factory will incorporate heat-recovery and reuse equipment to reduce manufacturing CO2 emissions by more than 10%.

Akuakultur Konawe Nusantara, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a whiteleg shrimp aquaculture facility in Polewali Village, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The facility is scheduled to start construction in August 2026, be completed by the end of May 2027, and begin shipments in July 2027, with planned annual production of approximately 1,300 tonnes and future expansion to approximately 4,000 tonnes.

Nippon Marine Foods to build new seafood-processing plant in Shimonoseki
