Riken Vitamin acquires 48,000 sqm plant site in Anpachi, Gifu to relocate Kyoto plant

Riken Vitamin has acquired about 48,000 square metres in Anpachi, Gifu for approximately ¥3.6 billion, to build a plant that will take over from its Kyoto plant. The site will make colour products including crocetin and gardenia blue pigment, expanding production capacity. The sale contract was signed in June 2026, ownership transfers in autumn 2027, and the company is targeting operation in fiscal 2030.
