Daichu completes new large-parts machining plant in Nagahama, Shiga

Daichu, a Nagahama, Shiga metalworking manufacturer covering casting, fabrication, machining, painting and assembly, completed its new 'No. 6 Plant' on its headquarters grounds on March 5, 2026. The 525 sqm building is dedicated to large-parts machining, equipped with a 5-face gantry machining center (Okuma MCR-A5CII), a 10-ton crane and welding equipment, expanding capacity for large diesel-engine components and large fabricated parts amid growing orders.
