Honda, Taisei Corporation and Taisei Rotec have developed core technology for a dynamic wireless power transfer road system that can charge EVs while driving, including heavy commercial vehicles. The partners plan to build a test track at Taisei's T-FIELD/TAMURA facility from late 2026 and participate in a public-road demonstration on the Tateyama Expressway in Chiba from FY2027 onward.
Daiichikosho will progressively install Terra Charge's 50 kW EV fast chargers at approximately 60 of its The Park coin-operated parking facilities in Tokyo. The installations are scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2027, adding charging infrastructure across the company's parking network.

Iino Kaiun completed construction of the 93,000 cubic meter LPG/ammonia Very Large Gas Carrier LUMI AURORA at Hanwha Ocean's Okpo shipyard in South Korea. Mazda has opened its first Indonesian complete vehicle assembly factory in Citeureup, Bogor Regency, West Java, through local partner PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) and PT Eurokars Produksi Pratama (EPP) on July 28, 2026. Mazda invested over IDR 400 billion to build the roughly 65,000 sqm facility, which will produce the CX-30 model for the Indonesian and regional markets.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India will invest about ¥25bn (approx. INR 15 billion / Rs 1,500 crore) to add a third production line at its second plant in Tapukara, Alwar district, Rajasthan, on newly acquired adjacent land of about 74,000 sqm. The line will build 125cc and 160cc scooters and light motorcycles with annual capacity of 670,000 units - lifting the plant's total capacity to about 2.01 million units - create roughly 2,000 jobs, and start operation in 2028.
