The Higashi-Kanamachi 1-chome West District Urban Redevelopment Association is proceeding with Phase II of a major mixed-use redevelopment in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, per Katsushika Ward's own project page. Phase II construction is scheduled to start in FY2026 and complete in October 2030; Phase I (completed 2025) included a 40-story, 900-unit residential and commercial tower.

Oishii Farm opened its Open Innovation Center in Hamura, Tokyo, on August 5, 2026, as a research and development facility dedicated to plant factories and next-generation agriculture. Asahi Kogyosha handled the full plant-cultivation facility construction, including interior work, environmental-control and air-conditioning systems, and nutrient-solution equipment.
INPEX will establish a new research and development center in the Kashiwanoha Campus area of Kashiwa, Chiba, to accelerate innovation in energy technologies. The center will include office and research space, an experimental building, and outdoor facilities, with construction planned to start in May 2027 and operations scheduled for April 2029.
TOTO will build a new R&D building within its Chigasaki plant in Kanagawa to accelerate development of next-generation electrostatic chucks and AD components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The facility will expand prototype production lines and is scheduled to start construction in December 2026 and be completed in April 2028.
AGS is expanding floor space at its Saitama Center data center in Saitama, Japan. The disclosure reports media coverage of the expansion but does not state the investment amount, added capacity, contractor, or schedule.
Data Section Inc. plans to invest JPY 97 billion in data center facilities and equipment in Australia. Construction is scheduled to start in March 2026 and be completed in August 2026, funded by cash on hand and borrowings.
