JEOL to upgrade production and R&D facilities at Akishima plant

JEOL plans to invest ¥7 billion in production, manufacturing, development and design equipment at its Akishima plant in Tokyo. The project is scheduled to run from April 2026 through March 2027 and is expected to result in only a minor increase in capacity.
