Osaka Soda held a groundbreaking ceremony for an expansion of pharmaceutical purification silica gel production facilities at its Matsuyama plant in Matsuyama, Ehime. The project is part of a plan investing more than JPY 10 billion across the Matsuyama and Amagasaki plants to roughly double combined production capacity, driven by growing demand from diabetes and obesity drug manufacturers.
