TOKAI Cable Network and affiliates to expand CATV and FTTH infrastructure across Japan

TOKAI Cable Network and nine affiliated cable television operators plan a combined ¥7.936 billion investment in CATV broadcasting equipment, transmission-route infrastructure and FTTH facilities across eight Japanese prefectures. The project runs from December 2019 through March 2027 and is intended to expand service areas, increase the number of viewing households and strengthen distribution capacity.
