Getworks, in collaboration with Tohoku Electric Power, has completed construction of a new container-type data center called 'Miyagi AI Data Center' on idle land owned by Tohoku Electric Power in Shichigahama, Miyagi Prefecture. The facility will offer housing services for next-generation high-performance GPU servers starting July 31, 2026, supporting generative AI infrastructure demand across the Tohoku region.
INPEX will establish a new research and development center in the Kashiwanoha Campus area of Kashiwa, Chiba, to accelerate innovation in energy technologies. The center will include office and research space, an experimental building, and outdoor facilities, with construction planned to start in May 2027 and operations scheduled for April 2029.
