Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. announced completion of a new third factory in Karawang Regency, West Java, Indonesia, built by its local subsidiary Kawai Indonesia to produce electronic pianos. The plant, with a total investment of JPY 4 billion, introduces labor-saving and automation equipment to boost production capacity and quality, supporting Kawai's mid-term plan to raise its global electronic piano market share to 24.4% by 2035.
