NGK Insulators to build ¥70bn semiconductor-ceramics plant in Nomi, Ishikawa

NGK Insulators will invest about ¥70bn to build a new production site in Nomi, Ishikawa for ceramics used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Output will be handled by subsidiary NGK Ceramic Device, with mass production targeted from October 2029, to meet demand growth driven by AI-era chip investment.
