Nippon GLP and Gion to build 135,000-sqm logistics warehouse in Sagamihara

Gion GLP Sagamihara, a special-purpose joint venture between Sagamihara-based logistics firm Gion Co., Ltd. and developer Nippon GLP, will construct a new RC/steel five-story warehouse with total floor area of approximately 135,388 sqm on a 54,070 sqm site in Sagamihara City as part of an industrial land redevelopment project (the Asamizodai-Shin'izono district). Construction is scheduled to start in January 2027 and complete by end of March 2029, with design by Toa Corporation; the general contractor has not yet been determined.

Tokyu Land completed the LOGI'Q Kobe Shin-Nagata logistics facility in Kobe, Hyogo, on August 31, 2026. The four-story, multi-tenant facility supports up to six tenants, has 44 truck berths, and includes a rooftop solar installation with maximum output of 1,500 kW; Taiho Construction served as designer, supervisor and contractor.

Okumura Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development began construction of a new logistics facility in Hirano-kita, Hirano Ward, Osaka City, as part of a mixed-use development near JR Hirano Station. The facility is scheduled for completion in winter 2028 and will benefit from access to central Osaka and Osaka Nanko logistics hubs.
CRE completed the four-story LogiSquare Kyotanabe B multi-tenant logistics facility in Kyotanabe, Kyoto, on August 31, 2026. The 90,660.61 sqm facility can accommodate up to 12 tenants, offers 162 truck berths and 3,000 kW of high-voltage power, and forms a two-building project with adjacent LogiSquare Kyotanabe A totaling more than 240,000 sqm.
NYK Line group company Keihin Dock signed a memorandum of cooperation with Oceanic Constellations and Sagami Transport Warehouse to establish the Yokosuka Constellations Center in Taura, Yokosuka. The planned facility will conduct research and development, construction and repair, and operational services for marine unmanned vehicles.
