Rakunou Nyugyo to build new dairy processing plant in Koriyama, Fukushima

JA Zen-Noh, Zenraku (National Federation of Dairy Co-operative Associations), and two regional milk marketing federations agreed to jointly establish Rakunou Nyugyo Co., Ltd. and build a new dairy products plant in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. The new company, capitalized at JPY 1.92 billion, will produce butter, skim milk powder, and cream, with production slated to start in December 2028.

Akuakultur Konawe Nusantara, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a whiteleg shrimp aquaculture facility in Polewali Village, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The facility is scheduled to start construction in August 2026, be completed by the end of May 2027, and begin shipments in July 2027, with planned annual production of approximately 1,300 tonnes and future expansion to approximately 4,000 tonnes.

Nippon Marine Foods to build new seafood-processing plant in Shimonoseki
