RENOVA to develop 99.9 MW / 280 MWh battery storage facility in Fukuroi, Shizuoka

RENOVA's project company R.Six Energy Storage LLC signed a project financing agreement with Mizuho Bank for a 99.9 MW / 280 MWh grid-scale battery storage facility in Ukari, Fukuroi, Shizuoka Prefecture. The loan is about JPY7.2 billion; the total project cost is not disclosed. Construction is scheduled for FY2026 with commercial operation in FY2029. It is RENOVA's second storage project to reach project financing, taking its operating and under-construction storage capacity to 452 MW.
