Sagawa Express announced that its Kanto Hub Center in Koto, Tokyo would enter full operation on July 21, 2026. The hub has 162 truck berths and can sort 50,000 parcels per hour; the building accommodating it has a total floor area of 87,561.31 sqm. It consolidates freight and uses automated sorting to improve transport efficiency. Further hubs are planned in Amagasaki, Hyogo for February 2027 and Fukuoka for 2028.

Hankyu Hanshin Properties and Hanshin Electric Railway have started construction of Logista Naruo-hama, the first refrigerated and frozen logistics facility in the Logista series, on the former Hanshin Tigers farm facility site in Nishinomiya, Hyogo. All frozen-storage sections will support flexible temperature settings from -25C to +5C, with completion scheduled for the end of October 2028; the facility is also planned to obtain ZEB certification using rooftop solar generation.
