Orthopedic medical device maker Nakashima Health Force will relocate its head office and factory to a new site in the Iwata district of Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture, investing approximately JPY 10 billion. The new facility will triple floor space versus the current plant, adding labor-saving/automation equipment and metal 3D printers, plus solar power, backup generators and water tanks for disaster resilience.

Olympus has completed the new B Building at its Nagano site in Tatsuno, Nagano, consolidating development and manufacturing functions and establishing a production base for key medical-device components. Construction began in February 2025, with full operation targeted for FY2026; the building has 17,665 sqm of total floor area and a total construction cost of approximately ¥18 billion.
JGC Holdings completed the UT3 biopharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredient facility for Chugai Pharmaceutical Industry at its Utsunomiya plant in May 2026.
