Nippon Chikudenchi completes grid-scale battery storage facility in Toyooka, Hyogo

Nippon Chikudenchi has completed construction of NC Toyooka Tajio Energy Storage Station, a 1,988 kW / 8,146 kWh grid-scale battery facility in Hyogo Prefecture. The facility began operation on 24 July 2026 and supports renewable energy integration, grid balancing, and disaster resilience through participation in wholesale electricity markets and capacity markets.
