Glome Holdings starts trial operation of grid-connected battery storage 'Toyooka No.1' in Hyogo

Glome Holdings Inc. announced that its grid-connected battery energy storage system (BESS) 'Toyooka No.1' in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture has begun trial operation, ahead of planned handover and commercial operation on August 1, 2026. The facility has a maximum receiving power of 1,988kW and connects to Kansai Electric Power's grid, forming part of the company's entry into the grid-scale battery storage business announced in April 2026.
