Meiji Yakuhin to build new pharmaceutical plant in Toyama, operational July 2028

Meiji Yakuhin, a Toyama-based pharmaceutical and health food manufacturer, broke ground on a new factory within its headquarters site on July 17, 2026. The plant is intended to meet growing demand from mail-order/e-commerce sales, with investment of JPY12.5 billion and operations expected to start in July 2028.
