Pharma Foods International's consolidated subsidiary Meiji Yakuhin will build a new plant at Mizuhashi, Toyama City, with a board resolution on June 16, 2025. The new plant (13,109 sqm floor area, steel-frame, 3 stories) covers formulation, packaging and liquid-medicine lines, funded via a syndicated loan guaranteed by Pharma Foods International. Investment is JPY12.5 billion, with construction planned to start July 2026 and operations targeted for July 2028.
