Mitsui Fudosan to invest over ¥600bn in data centers, expanding into 'industrial developer' role
Mitsui Fudosan announced plans to expand beyond logistics facilities into data centers and automated logistics, positioning itself as an 'industrial developer.' The company plans total investment of about ¥600bn across data center projects nationwide, with roughly ¥300bn already invested; new development is underway in the Kansai-Hokusetsu and Kanto-Tama areas, part of 7 facilities in progress nationwide, targeting completion of the full investment plan by FY2035.
